We have received our order of beautiful fresh wild caught Nisqually Salmon & Washington Steelhead!
These beautiful fish are local and seasonal.
Steelhead is a species of Rainbow Trout that are ocean going. Steelhead has tender flesh and a mild, somewhat nutty flavor. If you have never had a chance to enjoy this wonderful fish now is your chance as their fishing season will be coming to an end shortly.
The Niqually Salmon is also a late running, between November and January, locally caught Chum salmon. The name "Chum" comes from the Chinook Indian Jargon term tzum, meaning "spotted" or "marked."
